Common Questions & Answers

What is GRP?

GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, which is polymer resin reinforced with fiber made of glass.

GRP sheets are strong, very light in weight, and highly versatile.

Does Domer Vivid TP come with UV protection?

Domer Vivid panels are co-extruded with UV protection layer which eliminates the harmful sun rays, allowing only the healthy light rays to penetrate the building.

Domer Vivid Platinum has a very long life expectancy due to its high-end UV platinum shield layer and UV modified resin, providing a high and consistent light transmission.

Light Transmission reduction of below 12% is expected by 30 years of weathering and exposure to sunlight.

Why is important to have skylights in a building?

Daylight is always associated with improved mood, enhanced morale, and less fatigue. Studies suggest that environments with natural light have a direct impact on increasing the productivity and satisfaction of students and employees. Moreover, introducing daylight into your building will reduce the amount of artificial light decreasing your electricity cost and carbon footprint from 15 to 40 percent.

What makes Domer Vivid GRP different than conventional market GRP?

In short,

  • Domer vivid panels long life expectancy due to the advanced UV resistance technology,
  • Vivid panels are tough having high tensile strength,
  • Excellent light transmission,
  • Accuracy and consistency of the corrugation as a result of our experienced team and state of the art machinery
